My creative work shows the love I have for photography. My goal is to share my love of nature and express the beauty and pain that it shows. I believe a photo can express the challenges we face each day and deal with throughout our lives. I hope my photos show that pain and growth as you look upon each one of them. Each of my photos is also an expression of the challenges I have gone through throughout my life and how I have drawn closer to the Lord. I challenge you to also see what I have gone through the last couple of years and how I have found peace with God.
My goal with these photos can help you realize that life can get messy and complicated and can be painful at times but if we persevere, at the end there will be something beautiful. Psalms 139:14 says “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” Psalms 42:3-4 says “My tears have been my food. day and night, while people say to me all day long, “Where is your God?” These things I remember as I pour out my soul: how I used to go to the house of God. under the protection of the Mighty with shouts of joy and praise among the festive throng.” My photos are constantly changing as I express the painful seasons and the seasons of growth in life. My goal is for them to speak to you as much as they do to me and that the verses show God's love will walk us through all pain and challenges we may face in life and in the end it will make us stronger.
